BRIDE CHECKLIST:

Before placing an order - Please read and agree to the below checklist which outlines Hayes Bridal’s T&C’s.

ORDERING / TIMING

  • I have allowed 6 months for the production of my order (or discussed this prior)

OR

  • I have arranged a rush order and confirmed this by emailing hello@hayesbridal.co.nz

  • I have extra time in my schedule to arrange alterations prior to my wedding

  • I understand that a 40% non-refundable deposit is due to secure my order

 

SIZE (for online orders)

  • I have checked my measurements against the size guide

  • If I am in between sizes I have ordered one size up

  • If I am unsure, I have asked any questions about my size via hello@hayesbridal.co.nz prior to placing my order

 

ALTERATIONS

  • I understand that alterations are an expected part of the process, and necessary to ensure my pieces fit perfectly.

  • I have allowed time in my schedule for alterations (recommend at least 6 weeks but please check with your local specialist in advance)

  • I understand that Hayes Bridal cannot be responsible for any outcomes of any alterations, so I have researched and chosen an alterations specialist that I trust.

 

FABRIC + CARE

This garment is delicate and must be treated with care, while all Hayes Bridal pieces are designed to be able to dance and move comfortably in, please be careful!

Bridal fabrics are delicate in nature and namely silk – being a natural fibre, has some slight pulls/slubs present in the yarn. This is not a flaw, it only adds to the beauty of your piece.

Natural fibres are more likely to crease than some synthetic options. You will need to steam your dress prior to wearing.

  • It is my responsibility as the wearer to ensure the fit of this piece is appropriate and not putting any undue pressure on the seams of this delicate fabric.

  • I am ready to steam my dress before wearing !

  • I understand that some slight pulls or slubs in this delicate fabric are to be expected, and this only adds to the beauty and uniqueness of my handmade piece.

  • In the unlikely case that I find any major flaws in the fabric of this garment outside of reason, I understand I have 7 days from receiving my order to make contact and request a refund or replacement (see below on returns)

 

SHIPPING / DUTIES & TAXES

If you aren’t collecting your dress from the studio, Hayes Bridal orders are sent via tracked courier service. Please enquire to hello@hayesbridal.co.nz for shipping information specific to your country.

Please contact your local customs office for any information on duties or taxes you may be charged, as this is out of Hayes Bridal’s control.

  • I understand it is my responsibility to check and pay for any import customs duties or taxes.

  • I must provide complete and correct shipping address and information.

  • I understand Hayes Bridal is not liable for any issues with shipping once my order leaves the workroom.

  • I have allowed extra time for shipping around peak seasons - e.g Christmas.

  

RETURNS

All Hayes Bridal pieces are made with the utmost care and quality checked thoroughly before leaving the workroom.

  • I understand that as my piece(s) have been made to order, no returns are possible due to change of mind.

  • If I wish to cancel my order, I understand that I am only able to have 50% of the cost refunded, and not receive my goods.

  • In the unlikely case I find a major fabric or construction flaw in my garment, I understand I have 7 days to contact Hayes Bridal about this issue to request a refund or replacement.

  • I understand that any returns/replacements due to flaw will be at the discretion of Hayes Bridal.
